I have to say in all fairness to the lady involved, I dont think she ever really had any intention of hitting the idiot. I got the impression that she just wanted to put a shot across his bow and worry him a bit but as it it panned out, she nailed him dead centre. I really think she just wanted to put the wind up him to try to convince him to stay over the other side of the river ( which he should have done in the first place anyway ) That is what she was trying to tell him in the first place, stay over the other side and let people fish in peace, the river is plenty big enough for all to enjoy their sport but he was saying that fishermen thought that becuase they cast their lines half way across the river that they thought they owned the lot and that other people ( jetskis) could not enjoy their sport. But after she hit him, it was the spray about being on her driving range that cracked me up. She told him that had he stayed on the other side of the river, he would not have been hit as the ball would have gone over his head so he was obviously to close to her enjoying her sport. It was a brilliant bit of wit let alone a brilliantly executed golf swing.

Wish i was there to see it, she deserves an award. At least he may now be aware that sharing and that consideration of others is a necessity.

I fish the Pine and at times and have also found that the stupidity of some jetskiers is just down right dangerous. Have nearly been beamed a couple of times.

Perhaps we could get a rocket launcher for her in thanks?

I dont know about a rocket launcher mate ( hehe ), she did enough damage with a golf club. Poor buggar had a fair bit of claret leaking out of the pumpkin. Understandable why we sometimes think a launcher would be the go though. Some of them are certainly way off the mark in the manners stakes.

Now that is funny,thanks for the laugh,I fish the Boardwalk area at times (Caloundra) and they can be a real pain in the #$$ at times. Mate of mine had a slug with no hooks rigged up just for " jet ski attack" as he called it,his theory was if they are in range they are too close and open fire. I have had some laughs as he gets wound up firing the slug and insults one after the other.

I wonder if the jetskiers and the water skiers know just how many bull sharks in the Pine?

Saw a shark at the junction of the Pines around 14 foot long, probably not a bull shark but never the less it would have had teeth

If you all don't like to idea of giving this magnificent woman a rocket launcher maybe we could get her the contract for the dispersal of offal from one of the abbatiors?

So, i propose we consider an open season on them. Say, November to March, bag limit of 5 per person per day, nothing under 1 meter in length.

Yes, I agree with your size limit, but not the bag limit. They are sometimes a vermin species,depending on the environment they inhabit, and whilst they no doubt serve some purpose, I would be keen to reduce their plague proportions!!

That was so funny. Don't we all wish we'd of been there.
I have to agree.
Had a dick head always showing off in the caboolture river to. Close to boats, donuts around you-- just didn't give a brass razoo.
Well it finally happened-- got abit too cocky for his own good.. Went smack bang into the side of a boat. Lucky someone was there to help. Carted him off to hospital in the back of an ambulance..

Never did see hom on the river again... pity that.!!!!??????

Not quite as good as the golfing Lady but in the end the idiots get what they deserve.

Thank you mate, that was the funniest thing I have read on this site for a long time

A few years ago I was with a mate in NSW working some striped tuna schools.. the jet ski boys were doing their best to put them down, but Charlie started to flick a home made surface popped to see if they would take it.. Guess what ? Mister jet skier fully sick boy flies past.. Charlie ever so politely tries to tell him about his lure, but gets the finger.

All of a sudden the reel on Charlie's rod goes off, but where is the fish ? you guessed it, he had caught a jet ski..

50 mtrs away the ski goes Bzzt Bzzt thud.. and he is there saying mate can you give us a tow mate ?

We thought about burleying up, but in the end we towed him into the bay & laughed at him all the way (gave him a few moons as well)
