bar crossings

Looking to follow some one over south passage bar one weekend, I have been over before but it has been a few years & would like to follow & maybe get some pointer from some one with more recent experience

I did Bill Cortens course, it is excellent, and I would recommend it to anyone.

GO out and do the Bar Crossing course(07 32863647 Bill Corten when i did it was $330 Beach then (over 2yrs ago) highly recommended it and learn heaps about it) all some that is very experience crossing the bar (there is a few ausfish people)

The south passage bar is about 7km long & 2km wide has three channels (northern ,middle, amity) and want to pick good weather to cross it

I used to go over the bar ever second weekend i'm just not sure if the channels have shifted. I've gone over amity & the north channel. I will call up for the coarse though
