has anybody caught whiting at bribie in the last couple of weeks. i went last weekend and got 15 in the boat but red beach looked like fraser at ekka week wondering if there was any ausfishers amongnst them and how did they go
I was there 2 weekends ago in a hire boat with some friends and only got under size stuff. When we were about to leave I put a 20g raider slug on to troll back and as soon as it hit the water ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz It went off! I was worried about losing all my braid (have only just brought the rod, reel, braid etc) and after fighting it for a good 15 min i finally got it back and just as I throught the fish had given up....... SNAP! > after leaving the area 50m or so away there were fish about 70cm ish jumping out of the water after bait fish .
