Magic marlin
Try the circle but instead of placing the hook through the lip why not try a bridle rig like you would for marlin. This way the livey will last a long long time and when you do get the hit there is know way the hook point can get imbeded in the livey thus missing the fish. Just a suggestion

Ps when the fish hits let it run and swallow the bait before you apply the load,dont strike, if the jew feels the line it will let the livey go!

mate i dont fish the richmond that much.....if i said the system i fish than u would know exactly where i fish.....but the richmond is def. a gun system....u'll figure it out....
