TIPS 4 Beacons To Curtain
Plan on heading over this way on Sat for an overnighter.Having never been up that way would appreciate any info that may help out.
Will find some livies and stop by a couple of the beacons but thinking more on the night fishing around the ledge and Curtain artificial or Tangas Wrecks.

Re: TIPS 4 Beacons To Curtain
I like heading up that way - never had much luck with the fishing though, but then it probably wouldn't matter where I was in that regard. The current at Curtain runs really hard and you only seem to get a window of 40 odd minutes each side of the tide where you can get to the bottom without a huge chunk of lead on your line.
Tangalooma is a nice sheltered spot when Curtain gets too rough and we took full advantage of this last Friday night and not a bad spot to flick a few sp (or bait) around the wrecks. Picked up a few good size bream there last saturday morning.
We are going to try and head out again this friday night as the weather is looking good.
Cheers and good luck

Re: TIPS 4 Beacons To Curtain
Hi Nico - was there saturday morning and back for the day on Sunday but wasn't there saturday afternoon. There were are few berts over there on Sunday so maybe one of them was the one there saturday.
Hi 2DKnB - Had a bit of a change of plans last night, headed out at midnight as planned but decided to head down to mud instead of across the bay to Curtain. Was a nice night down at mud but on waking up to the conditions on Saturday morning we were sorry we weren't waking up at Moreton. Hope your trip went well.
