    Livebait of the goldy.

    Mate and I have fished the goldy a bit the last year but still have not worked out what they do and where they go in different conditions.Would love a bit of help.Thanks

    If you're out early then they're usually about quite close to the seaway entrance. Hang a right at 45deg as you exit the seaway. Motor up to all the boats doing the jigging then start looking at your sounder to locate a baitball. You may at times have to chase them a bit.

    Otherwise they're about on the scottish prince. If you're not getting any hits put a bit of bait on each hook and you'll soon get some.
