Pulled these out of the stomach of a wahoo on the weekend. They were alive and wriggling around. Anyone know what they are?

Hi all
possibly sea snails - the shells would be my guess
Cheers
Steve
Mate they are bait! Keep them alive and go again.
Regards, Mick
they certainly looked like some sort of sea snail but without a shell. they were soft all over and still very much alive which makes me think they might be parasitic, but i still wonder how they got inside a pelagic like a wahoo. Looks like ive stumped a few people
Did you eat the Wahoo and survive?

Show me the Snapper!
actually agree with pimp my boat, the diver theory has gone out the window. one of the boys at work here reckons its a snail, apparently baracouta up north get a similar one but with a white rippled shell.
His theory chuck they fish and keep the rest for bait................
so...........u still there???
put them in a bottle take em up to the Uni.

i have got a few out of wahoo previous , they are weird and feel like they will eat through your hand , best guess they are a parasite obviously common in wahoo.
Already had 3 meals of wahoo and im still kickin, also sent a few mates home with some that they ate last night, haven't heard from them but im assuming they are ok .
these are a parasite common to wahoo & they have no effect on the meat ,most wahoo i have caught usually have them
THEY STILL LOOK GOOD COMING OUT OF SOMETHING YOUR ARE GOING TO EAT
