    mud crabs in the logan

    do anyone know if there is any muddys in the logan yet if so were abouts [smiley=argue.gif]

    mate there plenty of muddies in the logan a mate was down there Thursday placed his pots on the bend near the sandbar near marks rocks on the southern side of the river picked up 8 nice buck and returned 12 jennies for 4hrs work and fishing with some nice whiting and four good flathead for his troubles

    Friday he returned to the pin in cobby cobby passage down at the rocks there is a good creek runs through to the other side and back into cobby passage he placed his pots in the deep hole there for another 5 bucks while drifting down the passage for some more whiting and flathead

    bait was Mullet frames for the crabs

    waiting to here todays report from him will talk to him tomorrow

    Weve have got quite a few small ones over the last month. Got 5 in 40 mins the other week.

    update on cobby cobby passage mate returned with some nice bucks 2 in the boat 4 pots and 2 dillies for 12 bucks returned under sized 8 jennies returned and 7 with 4 sandies brought home for the pot along with 1 jewie at 6kg, returned 4 flathead all over the 70cm mark, 3 around the 50cm home for the fry pan none for the freezer and 20 whiting all over the 25cm mark 3 going 45cm
    returned 2 juvie Cobia's 45cm and 3 squire at 28cm and one sweetlip at 25cm was and all nighter the fish where caught along the canaipa passage some where spot x crabs where in the cobby cobby passage some where
    both he and friend had fun shame i was not out their enjoying the same

    now he will not be heading out till just before Xmas to gather some more Crabs for Xmas will probably doing the same thing before Xmas for some nice Sandies and a few muddies for home

    as for any thing else that is the report for you and sorry can't tell you any more
