let it go slack for a few minutes to see if it will come out , then try different angles , then ask god why he isnt happy , then ask why do I fish , then get the shits , then snap it and re-rig , then back to square 1.

swear at it LOTS , some times it works if not it will make you feel a bit better . I got busted of on a snag today by a jack (im pretty sure thats what it was) or a big bream , tell ya what i swore heaps > then my son got busted up in the same spot 5 minutes later .
I got busted off today when i was on a footbridge casting at the highway next to it on a small powerbait and 6lb leader bye a jack i think, but i dont think there was much i could do to get it out of the pylons

have a smoke sit back and have a nice cold jim beam
I normally just keep a constant pressure to the fish. Something around the breaking strain as there is not much to lose. Feel what the fish is doing..........If it has no movement then probably just bust off after a reasonable time, like 15 seconds............If you feel movement from the fish then just wish for the chance that the fish will back out of the snag or tire quickly.
Good luck

have a cry cause that's the only hit you had the whole session.. hehe
10% of people catch 90% of the fish
Get your reef anchor and go to the other side of the snag and drop it down. You might be lucky enough to grab the other end of the line, if this doesn't work you might be able to pull up the snag with the anchor. This has worked for me, my biggest jack yet (51cm) was caught using this method

explosivies. just joking. try sitting there for a while and see if it comes out or just cut your loses and try again.
