Heading up to Lucinda just after new years. I have heard there are 2 deep holes in the Hinchinbrook channel holding some big Jews.
Does anyone know co-ordinates to the holes???
Ill pm you the marks mate. Also try the end of the jetty with live squid my rellos who live there have been scoring quality fingermark at the moment by the dozen

If you have a boat..............I am sure you will do very well. The last pylons of the long jetty houses some big fingermark, queenies, trevor etc etc . I hope you get your arms stretched. I will be staying in Lucinda (Wanderers Caravan park) 17,18,19 January. Because I do not have a boat I will be jigging off the walk-on jetty.

Just thinking, have those days off, and a day trip to Lucinda could be on the cards. Will see closer to the date but might drive up there for the Thursday. If so, I could use a deckie or 2 for the day.
Thats good to hear.............well that is if you go the calm waters. I do not have sea legs..........I am sooooooooo jealous of you guys that can cope in bumpy waters. If you decide to go from Dungeness jetty and up into the Hinchenbrook channells, I can be your deckie. If you decide to hit the Jetty pylons..............I am probably only good for 1 hour and that's just no where near long enough to fish for the monsters under that jetty.

We are supposed to be going up for the missus's 30th. But she did'nt like my plan.
First thing in the morning, head up the channel flicking lures, back by, lets say 9. Spend the day with her, then head out after dinner and try my luck for some fingermark and jewies.
When you bring in a nice fingermark, clean it, cook it and serve it to her like the gentleman you are.......................you can , after that,. go to Lucinda anytime your heart desires.

I love Lucinda but have never caught anything worthwhile off the walk on jetty. The time will come.
