passage fishing

just wondering if anybody has had any luck around buckleys hole recentley

I've been crabbing in the passage quite a bit recently and there is so much weed in the passage at the moment that fishing is hardly worth the effort. It's been so bad that I'll be going somewhere else for a while until it clears. The worst of it is down at the mouth of the passage so that fishing Buckley's would be very difficult. You might do OK around the low tide when most of the weed has gone out into the bay.

I agree with Freeedom - I have had a pretty miserably time of it up there lately - I can see lots of bait but there don't seem to be any predators
