Hi all how are we? hope you all had a good new year.
Just bought a camper trailer for holidays with the fam' and are planing plenty of trips up north qld, am also a keen reef fisherman amd would love to get onto some big red emperor, just wondering how far north to go and best time of year for them, and also if anyone knows of good charters?

Mate i've used a guy for offshore charter work called One More Cast - Troy Jones. Has a custom built centre console boat and cost $600 for a full days fishing. Troy is known was always producing fish at his many spots, wrecks, shoals or bomby's etc. I'd suggest him again. If your keen on barra charters, ensure you do your homework as we seem to have so many "experts" these days. I'd honestly say only a handful of them are as good as their web pages say.
