    advice on a sounder

hi all.... Just after some advice on a sounder as im fairly new to boating and dont really know what im looking for. Im pretty serious about my fishing and i mostly fish with soft plastics and livies in the river but also a bit of offshore stuff on the closer reefs. The boat im in came with an old eagle fish id sounder, which doesnt show up bait schools and shows a very blocky interpretation of the bottom.... not really up to the task. Anyway, i have about $400 max to spend, and i was thinking of getting a second hand model maybe a coupla yrs old, any ideas????

      Have a look at this.

If you are fishing in Australia or any part of the world you can do it with quality fishing tackle from Australia.
