    Contact Cleaner top Stuff

    Went out the other day and the sounder refused to work had power but no soundings, the contacts on the plug at the rear had gone black so from ringing around to dealers and being told I need a new transducer at around $180 ( Lowrance X85) i got some contact cleaner from Dick Smiths and a couple of cotton buds and it is now like new this stuff protects as well as cleans about 7 bucks a can and now it is in the boat to stay will be treating all the switches and fuses with it as well.

    Well it gives me something to do on the days I got nothing to do.
    Preventive Maintenance they call it
