    Digital Camera Accesories

Wondering if anyone knows where i can get a panoramic attachment for my digital camera. Not sure on how they actually operate and attach to the camera, but i know they enable the photographer to take a wider photo.
Any suggestions on brands or information on the accesory would be helpful.
    Regards

Depending on the brand and cost of the camera, some cameras have this capacity built in.

I have a canon 60 something or other. A great little camera that has a mode called 'stitch' which stitches together several shots to create a panorama. You can even do a full 360.

They are around the $600 mark and you can get a water proof shell that floats and is water proof down to some unbelievable depth and has buttons that operate all the functions of the camera.

I have killed 2 digital cameras through dust and water and I carry my little canon in the shell whether in the boat or in the dust of central Oz and it always works fine. I have done some snorkling and it works fine to free dive depths. My son has used his diving to around 25 metres.

    seems the conversation went dry.

i will pick it up from here.....

i have an olympus c770, a small camera. and i chose it because i checked that it could take an underwater housing.

you cant just go out and buy any housing. first you must check the make and model of your camera and see if there is a housing made for it. they are not very cheap, but they will make your camera waterproof, and even float if you leave the weight off. i got mine from the local camera shop. teds camera house can get them in, just call them and ask if one is available for your camera.
