I dont have a 120 but I do have the 250.
The menus are very easy to naviagate for a biginer so when your out fishing you dont have to be always reading the manual.
The specs for the 120 are a bit lower than the 250 but i'm sure it will do what you need.
Where abouts are you located? If your in the Brisbane area, drop into Sundown Marine and i'm sure they'll sort you out

I have a 120. It's in a 12' tinny and I havent a worry with it. It's done everything it's asked of so far. I have previously had 2 lowrances die on me. They retail for $315 but u can get them round the traps for $230.
