    sounder for 12ft tinny

    Just purchased a 12 ft tinny for estuary and dam fishing. Looking at putting in a sounder any advice for the best options.

    Depends on your budget
    The sky is the limit if the finances allow
    I have a Humminbird 2005 deep in my tinny. Works well.

    Good entry level sounder(around the $250 os the garmin ff120.)This is what I run. Have had lowrance in the past and although good on warranty, the need shouldn't of arised.

    budget $200 - 300 bracket. Mostly will be used in Bribie passage, the pin, pine river etc. Thanks for feedback

    G'day
    For that price range i'd be looking at the FF120 from garmin and the X47 from lowrance. I'm not shure is navman do a cheapie but i know humminbird do but i'm not shure on their model. All i could suggest is go down to the chandleries and have a play with them. Then play them off of eachother with prices.
