G'day
Good entry level sounder(around the $250 os the garmin ff120.)This is what I run. Have had lowrance in the past and although good on warranty, the need shouldn't of arised.

G'day
For that price range i'd be looking at the FF120 from garmin and the X47 from lowrance. I'm not shure is navman do a cheapie but i know humminbird do but i'm not shure on their model. All i could suggest is go down to the chandleries and have a play with them. Then play them off of eachother with prices.
