garmin blue charts tides

could anyone out there with garmin blue chart tell me about the tide function,It appears to only show the tide line curves,and not show a read out for tide height at present time of day.I 'm interested in upgrading my hand held to have the tide height but if it only show the highs and lows and tide curve probably not worth it as I fish creeks and tide height important for ramps and I would rarely need mapping facility cheers fingers

I don't know about the hand helds, but my GPSMAP 178C shows the height at present time. You can alsso move the cursor along the tide curve and it gives height at that time.
