New Furuno fish finders 620 & 585
Seemingly the new Furunos (to replace the 600 and 582) will be out in the US in April. While the electonics etc on the existing machines are excellent, the screens are now looking a bit tired. Seemingly the new machines use the same internal electronics with better 'knobs' and screens.
Looks like we go to 6'' and 8" screens with 256 colours.
Here's a link http://www.furuno.co.jp/english/mari...s/press41.html
Hope we see them here soon.
Wonder what price they come in at in Aus!?!
Kind regards

If anybody out there buys one of these or has one, can they give us some info/feedback on the units. They look very good indeed.

Here's a US listing, US often supply WITHOUT transducer so be careful and make sure you ask.

Re: New Furuno fish finders 620 & 585
Seems like the new 620 is cheaper and performs much better than the current 582 Just wondering if Aust dealers will run cash back deals like their US counterpart

Re: New Furuno fish finders 620 & 585
They look to much like a Humminbird for my liking,I'm happy with my 582,what's more to get the full potential out of the 585 looks like you have to spend a lot more dollars and get the "box".Having said that though I don't think they would've taken any backward steps with there development.
