Seemingly the new Furunos (to replace the 600 and 582) will be out in the US in April. While the electonics etc on the existing machines are excellent, the screens are now looking a bit tired. Seemingly the new machines use the same internal electronics with better 'knobs' and screens.
Looks like we go to 6'' and 8" screens with 256 colours.
Seems like the new 620 is cheaper and performs much better than the current 582 Just wondering if Aust dealers will run cash back deals like their US counterpart
They look to much like a Humminbird for my liking,I'm happy with my 582,what's more to get the full potential out of the 585 looks like you have to spend a lot more dollars and get the "box".Having said that though I don't think they would've taken any backward steps with there development.
gday guys
The new 620 and 585 will be available in aust late this month both units will be in demand i havent personaly seen the new 585 but i know some one that had one set up next to the 10.4' fcv 1100L and showed just as good a picture as the 1100L on 1KW
