Furuno FCV-585 and FCV-620

After all of the talk on the site about the new Furuno products we now have them on display and turned on to have a play with.

The new units look as good as anything else on our sounder display and still retain the legenary Furuno performance with a few added features built in as well.
After a having them on display for 3 days and then having the time to play with them we are impressed and recommend anyone interested in a serious sounder have a look at them

The new units have some extra features when linked to a GPS.The stop scroll and mark from the sounder screen ,previously only humminbird units had the ability to do this and it is the most accurate way to mark a waypoint.

Different menus to make life easier in the smaller model is an added extra as well,best idea is to have a look at them in the flesh mate.

Thanks for that Sundown,unfortunately I'm a bit to far away to drop in.I'm hoping to get many more years out of my 582 but when the time comes a trip up might be in order.

Looked at one today at local dealer unfortunatley non for sale here yet all I can say is they are one sweeeet! sounder saw the 620 running next door to 582 and it looked to be better display and the menu's very easy to use and fine tune. It's a very robust looking and well built looking unit from what I could see. If he had one for sale I would of bought it then.

I'm impressed !
