Furuno units

Has anyone had any experience with Furuno FCV 620 sounder and the 1650 W/NT GPS any feed back will be appreciated.

]Gold Can a couple of us have the 620s but havn't been able to use them much yet due to the weather. I have run mine once on the water no fishing and I liked what I saw plenty of power and easy to use. There is a couple of topics around on this subject one on this page and one under offshore reports. Andrew

For a bit of contrast here is a picture of a new 585 looking at some Pearlies suspended off the bottom.

In the JRC-FF50 V 582/585, I found the JRC much more user friendly having more buttons to push to access common functions so you weren't going into menus all the time like I had to with the Furuno on the weekend. To me that puts the JRC in front with more power at your fingertips.
