Hi folks, - any ideas on the following appreciated - tacho (VDO on Johno 150) seems to not work, reads very low, and sometimes sits on around 1000 - 1500. If I give the PTT button a push, it bursts into like for a second or so . All other fucntions on the instrument appear to be working - oil warning etc. Have cheked and cleaned wiring/ connections, and even put in a new one - same problem. I'm stumped.
Hi Gbanger, its the original configuration that haines/ OMC fitted the boat out with years back. Havnt heard of a difference between 2 and 4 stroke tacho
