Can anyone tell me what the navman 4350 colours are like, whats the resolution like, the screens not very big does that matter, i mainly fish in freshwater eg murray river.
Is there any reason why you particularly wanted a colour screen? IMO you should consider getting a sounder that has the best display i.e. has the most pixels as this will dictate how much detail appears on the screen, this will probably mean getting a black and white screen rather than colour. For the roughly the same money as the Navman you could get a lowrance x135 which has 480 x 480 pixels vs the Navman 320 x 240 and will therefore show considerably more detail.
Not actually seen one of those in operation but it should be OK given the number of pixels available - it might be an idea to take a look around a few stores and see the units in action, obviously this is only in demo mode but it will give you an idea of what sort of thing the screen is capable of showing. You can check out the lowrance range online - simply download the simulator from the net and have a play around with it, not sure if Humminbird or navman have the same thing available.
