Hi guys can anyone tell me how often these C-MAPS should be upgraded, and how much it costs. Im on the west side of Brisbane is there any local places that I can get the upgades thankyou Ken
Why not ring a dealer? I know when I upgraded to the Ballina to Darwin, I was told it now had all the GBRMPA new boundaries. I actually traded in my Tweed to Bundy, only cost $175. Cheers Pete
Ken I had my map upgraded by Leasure Marine around 2 years ago, not sure if they still do them for c map but to be honest it was not worth the $100 plus dollars I paid for it. Since then I have a new boat & c-map plus & there is no difference to the old map that I can see at least where I go. If I bought a new gps I would have a look at the the new c-map maxi as I believe these maps are better with more imformation but as I understand it these maxi maps are not compatible with all gps units. Maybe some one out there may know more about it. Cheers.
Hi bj I have a maxi map it covers the whole eastern coast line. I have found out that it has been updated twice since Ive got it. Hi Pete I will try the mob i bought it off as the may be able to tell where and how much to get it updated thanks for the inputt guys Ken
