Hi Guys, I just wanted to let others know that I completed the MROCP VFH MF/HF radio operator’s course yesterday in the effort to get my appropriate Certificate of Proficiency.

I did the course run at the VMR Victoria Point by Lloyd Finn, these guys did a great job at a very economical cost. The course seemed to cover all areas and significant items in a pretty full but well organised day. In general I found it easy to answer most of the 50 odd questions which can only reflect the suitability of your course content with the required competencies

At the end of the day I can highly recommend this course for any VHF MF/HF operator that wants to be fully legal in the use of their equipment. Not only does it allow you to obtain the a DSC cods for those with a VHF radio that allows for this feature it also gives you much greater confidence and the ability to provide a higher level of safety and awareness when taking others out for a day of boating and fishing.
