timddo did the us deal for $300au fall through, what changed your mind, I'm considering buying from the us also, I have bought other tools, saws, drills batteries, so far haven't had a problem.

no i've just paid for it by paypal, justing wondering if it's a good deal or not.
Overgall it cost me $359 including shipping cost. Now all i need to do is get a C-map for the area, i think $150. Everything i've brought on ebay seems to arrive. Just courious on the price differences. Whitworths is $640 and Ebay $300?????
Now i just need to fine the fish.

well, i just paid for it.. so hopfully it should arrive by this weekend, My missus won't let me out night fishing, coz we got kinda lost on the way home from the pin. kinda hit a few sand banks and made a wrong turn.
name on ebay is courierme. he has a buy it now price for $279, so i think i got ripped off,
i'll update ya when i receive the unit.

can you send your card back to c-map, coz the card is faulty.
I dunno Tim as i bought the unit secondhand mate. Could be worth a try though.
better still darryl, give them a call, tell them your story and you never know.. talk the rep and if she/he does nothing, ask to talk to their superiers,

I just bought a Navman 5505X plotter off ebay through seller called "bidnowcanada". These guys were excellent to deal with and will probably upgrade my sounder through them next month. Paid $607 delivered. Bloody good price for a 5" screen color Chart Plotter. Was here in 7 days, well packaged and brand new in factory sealed box.

You can send the card to cmap and have it upgraded for a small fee. Not sure how much but that should fix any probles with the card. Talk to the guys at cmap and see what they have to say.
