Hi all,
I,m looking at buying a Navman tracker 5380 at this years Sydney boat show and am after any info on these units. I,m looking at this model as I have limited space on my dash to mount it. I would also like to have it hooked up to my 90 opti and would like to know what I might need to do this. If anyone has had any experiences with these units good or bad I,d like to hear about it to make sure I,m making the right choice. If anyone can suggest other options please let me know. Look forward to your feed back as I,m sick of hearing salesman talk their products up.

I know that another ausfish member ('dynamicspot') just bought the same unit. Not sure whether he can tell you much about it's performance yet or whether he's even had a chance to install it but he might be able to give you other relevant info. Try sending Greg (dynamicspot) a PM.

I have a 5380, had to go and have a look to see if the model was right.
I am more than happy with mine, I got that one so I could hook up the fuel flow meter. Cant tell you about the intergration with the opti. Had mine for about 9 months

Hi merc i have just got one friday not fitted yet (shirty Weather) but have had a good play with it looks to be the goods at the moment whith heaps of features tide times moon phases an so on hope to get it fitted today so i will let you know how they go
Navman are CRAP and when yours fails as it inevitably will u'll find out y! Biggest bucket of Sh@t in my boat. Wish I'd spent my $4K on something like a Lowrance.
Transducer is noisey, even after reducing the power. Fuel managemt system didnt work for months and the dealers said it was my fault until I proved them wrong. seems everything that goes wrong with them is eitehr user or installer error according to them!
Seems that many dealers are dropping the brand as a result of MANY dissatisfied customers.
