    Furuno 600L problem

Last time I was out fishing Caloundra 12 mile my 600L sounder was reading a depth of 70mtrs which I new was wrong. I checked the settings to see if it was set on feet but it wasn't I turned the setting to feet and then back to meters and It started reading the right depth. Just wondering if anyone has had the same problem.

    Thanks
    Greg

Maybe you should reset it (ie the whole lot of it back to factory settings). To do this, turn the power on when pressing any key. Then press the UP arrow and you will get a screen that askds if you want to restore factory settings -select yes
