PHP Warning: Use of undefined constant VBA_SCRIPT - assumed 'VBA_SCRIPT' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in ..../includes/functions_navigation.php(802) : eval()'d code on line 1 Transducer reading problem
Maybe one of you could help me out. Ive got an older Apelco 365 fishfinder (yr 2000) with a transom mount transducer which is playing up.
The main unit works perfectly well, and i also recieve fairly good speed and water temp readings from the transducer, but no luck with the depth / fish and sea-bed readings. My display is just registering blank, with the depth maxed out and blinking. I cant see the sea-bottom, nor any thing like fish etc..
Now its mounted correctly, (at hte right angle, and position) and im getting sufficient power to the unit. Can anyone help me out on tips or troubleshooting guides?
Sorry to hear that matey,
Go through the installation guide and user manual. They normally have a reasonable trouble shooting section.
Has the unit been left on whilst boat is out of the water for any lenght of time??
Have you tried using just the 50 Hz or just the 200 Hz modes??
If you haven't the manual here's the link http://www.raymarine.com/raymarine/S...G627296www.pdf
no it hasn't.. ive had a look at the troubleshooting section in the guide, but its all about the voltage, angle and placement of the transducer, which is all fine.
I'll be getting a new sonar/gps combo in a few months, but until i save up the cash for that i'd like to make do with this one eheh.
