Navman 5505
Had a look at the new navman 5505.Seems to be the goods,at a good boat show price of $955.
The superceded 5000 is $ 1099 at Whitworths, just to give you a comparison.
Would like to know if anyone has one,and could comment.

Re: Navman 5505
Hey David
Bought one at the show yesterday to replace the black and white model. Spent a bit of time talking to the navman rep which was great as he gave me a few ideas on how to get the most out of the unit.( I am an techno idiot )
The main difference would seem to be the all of the new models will run C- Map max. I reckon that any stores with the older models may soon be dropping there price.
Saw a 6 inch model advertised for less than $ 1000 in the latest QFM. Would seem to be a good buy if you were not interested in the c-map max. I would have bought it if not for the fact that I did not want to resize the existing hole on my dash.
cheers and happy hunting

Try Glascraftmarine thats Brisbane. Those others are dearer than Navmans RRP. RRP for East Coast is $319, see Navman adds for 6500 and 6600.
