Humminbird 787 C2 sounder

HI All,

Does any member have the above mentioned sounder, a 787 c2 sounder. What I am chasing is your thoughts on the chart software compared to the non chart version, the 777c2.

I have seen the 777c2 in the flesh but not the 787. Is the chart software worth the extra money. I fish mainly smooth water and dams so i dont need the charts to navigate of shore etc. How accurate are the charts?

Any help appreciated. Hopefully next time i go to a marine shop they will have 1 in stock. All previous attempts have not been succesfull due to the units selling before 1 went on display.

They are a Navionics chart and while you won't get dam info the other advantage is that the 787 has a lot more buttons so you don't have to go to a menu all the time. My mate is buying one but I have spoken to a couple of blokes with them and they like them. When in doubt talk to BLA about it.
