I have a MK Riptide Tiller 40Lb and have some questions -

Can I rotate the head around 180 degrees ?
so I can use it on the bow rather than the transom

Is there any maintenance I should carry out ?
other than cleaning the sacrificial anode.

Should anything be lubricated ?
other than the threads and locking pins.

Can I attach an ordinary transducer to the lower unit if the electric motor ? will the electric motor interfere with the transducer ?

hi there i m james from brisbane yes u can rotate the head of the kota i have done this since mine is on the bow of my tinne and there is no problem with mounting tranducer to lower housing just use soem electrical tape under hose clamp and u will be fine i run 350tx humminbird with side scan on it and it works fine no electrical interference...... cheers hope this helps

i too spun the head on mine, works fine.

Its a pain tryinmg to get the bolt back through the shaft past the wires.

theres only two wires shouldnt be a problem if u were in brisbane i could have done it for you
