Sea bed charts

I have some Seabed information charts , and i was wondering if anyone knows of a way or even if it is possible to get these scanned and or uploaded to a disc or program for use on the computer.?

Wonder if C-Map or Navionics have a job going for a tea boy/sweeper up

I'm no whiz with a computor. But am interested in what type of chart, detail and area covered. Could be very useful.

I've seen side scan sonar charts scanned to paper and saved to disc before, no idea how they did it tho.
They were survey charts for oil & gas fields in the North West and Timor Sea. On DVD and thru a data projector.
Try a technician at a seismic survey company, they love talking about that sort of stuff.
