    bow mount

    Hi considering minn kota riptide bowmount, question, boat is 4.3 meter stessco, what would people recommend thrust wise\shaft lenth, is 12 or 24 volts better any advise will be appreciated

    What sort of area are you going to be fishing in? Windy, strong currents? If so, look at a 24v system. Little dearer but the extra grunt from 65lb will help. I've got a 55lb Riptide on my 435 Hornet. Upgrading to a 445 Hornet next year and will be going for at least a 65lb or higher. Always good to have the extra power there if needed. Just cause its there doesn't mean you got to use it all the time.
