    Coochiemudlo(?)

We are thinking of taking the kids to Coochie this weekend and I was wondering what the landbased spots there are like. I know it's in the southern bay but that's about it. I assume a mud and rock bottom? Bream, Flathead? - what could I hope to get there during the daytime?

I usually bait fish but find myself throwing lures a lot more these days, any suggestions appreciated.

    Cheers
    Steve.

Nice little beach on the southern side Steve and I think that it is sandy from memory .
There is a little jetty there as well .
I would think that Bream and small squire would be able to be caught .
I think that some soft plastic shads might be worth a try .
    Regards Reel

    Hi
Nice little bay on the ne side with a rock wall/ledge going out from it. On the low tide you could walk out and fish next to the tinnies!
Usually see whiting, bream, parrot & odd tailor coming off the beach at the eastern end.
