    Hi Jaybee,
They never put up the gates to close it off,not yet anyway. there was much public objecting, they i believe are looking at other options as it would have affected families going down for a bbq or walk out to King Is. As well as any of the boaties wishing to set off at sunset or before sunrise. Haven't heard of vandals getting to cars left overnight, more than anything else it's a meeting place to show off your hotrods and hoon about for a while.

stevo there have been posts here where ppl have had damage done to their cars while fishing wello reef, we left the ramp at 5 am one morning back by 9 am due to wind and no trailer. so with bad memories i find it hard to park in the same spot
    cheers.

    Re: Wellington Point Reef

One of the other guys from here who regularly fishes the wello had his fourby broken into and some expensive damage done to the door as well. Raby bay seems to be the best option down that way.
