g'day again, i haven't been out for a while due to footy b/ups for the kids and myself. with most of these over i am looking forward to wetting a line again. once again i will keep an eye out for you , will catch up one of these days. i did use plastics last time and i can't wait to try them again,as it seemed that anything would give them a hit. Re: Wellington Point Reef

going out to my spot , friday night / saturday morning (very early) like 1 am or so. Will be taking fresh whole squid , fresh whole diver whiting (might give em a go) and whole gar. Ive heard big snapper like whiting heads so i guess i might be in luck using whole baby diver whiting But I still have one bait which Is a secret to the spot and will never be revealed to the public. This bait is preferred in the area but is bloody expensive , which is why iam testing the whiting / gar , at 1/3 the price per kilo I cant go wrong Hoping to lock up a big fat lipper on my TLD 25 but still will be fishing light on another rod to make sure i get a bite without totally spooking them.
So if you see me trying my luck in the shallows of wello point please be quiet as these fish spook easily and come over for a chat after sun up ( the fish totally disperse at sun up) maybe they can see the boat , I sure can see the coral

Went out and scored a legal squire and a sweetlipper
but the wind picked up and the current was going the oposite way to the boats drift and we were fishing up the anchor rope
hope to get back out on saturday night
