    HELP

    G'day fellas
I'm a fishing dummy who has been trying to learn the art of fishing [by myself] for the past 6 months without success.
I am fast coming to the conclusion that the only way that I will be able to catch fish will be off the transom of a very fast boat using hand grenades.
If there is a good Samariton out there that would be willing to take a DUMMY with him once or twice and give him a few tips I would be forever thankful.

I am located on the Gold Coast and am available at any time.

This computer may be off the air for a while within the next few days for a rebuild but I can be contacted on 0410277350

    Thanks fellas
    Grahame

    Re: HELP

G'day Coke(Funny name, hope it refers to the drinking kind )what type of fish are you hoping to catch,do you havva' boat?do you have transport?what age group are we looking at here, not that important but it would be a shame to go fishing with some of the more senior(re senile)members & have to put up with them repeating over & over how good they used to be when you could perhaps do a trip or two with younger blokes(bit like myself that actually catch fish )You will notice I have not mentioned any names re the older brigade as I sure you will understand some of them do get a bit shirty ,One of the best bits of advice I can offer at this stage is to keep an eye out on this site for the next meet n greet,All the fisho's here will help a fellow angler get on the right track & a meet n greet weekend would give you as many answers as to your many questions I'm sure.Cheers Touchy.><> ><> ><>.

    G'day Touchy

    Thanks for the reply.
Yeah it is a funny name but when I registered with Ausfish my usual name was taken - so I looked at the dog and thought "you'l do" so that was that [her twin brothers name is Whisky]
I woke up this morning and someone told me I am heading for the higher end of the age scale [have'nt hit the speed limit yet] and had better do something about growing up.

Yes I do have transport, some gear and have a fair amount of eperience with boats. Dont have suitable boat at moment but looking.

Thanks again for the advice -

    cheers
    Coke

    Re: HELP

PinHead,Yeah, someone told me the other day you got the ramp idea from a guy named Noah & that you got shitty when he wouldn't let you on board so you went & built your own .Coke,I'm(hopefully)running in my new 40/4stroke Yammie this weekend at Donnybrook,I'm heading up there & camping at the caravan park thru'to Sun morning & at this stage I will have a spare seat on the Sat.,It maybe a bit far for you but you are welcome to tag along if you want to travel up,I still have to wait for the weather ect.& my minister for war & peace has to be consulted as well as the last I heard she had all sorts of jobs for me to do this w/end ,I will let you know when I'm sure I'm going.Cheers Touchy.><> ><> ><>.

    Hey touchy,
One good thing about being old is we dont have to crawl out from under the thumb to get to go fishing.
