Re: COD FISHING
Gday Gary
Yeah I'm from Agnes Water/1770.
Fairly keen on lure fishing in rivers, creeks etc. Used to do a heap of bass fishing from Merimbula in nsw right up to Noosa.
Only had a good cod on my line once, up behind Coffs. It was a monster but I didnt land the mongrel. Since then I have had an ambition to catch a decent cod. Keep me in mind!
Regards, Tony

Re: COD FISHING
Hi Gary I have a friend who knows couple of farmers over there we go and stay in their
house, my freind told me If I tell any one he will kill me.usualy we go twice a year,
2 years ago I got one over 20 pounds,[check the picture in the fresh water pictures in this site] but usualy they are around 2kg if you fish with a popper. u get smaller ones as well when you fishing from the bottom.
Gary use black poppers spinning rod or fly fishing very early morning and cast as close to the reeds as possible and twitch the popper without pulling it to far the noisier of the action of the popper the better, I make my own spinning poppers if you live around goldcoast happily I give you one.
cheers Vince.
