sun south west rocks

headinf the hour and a half up to south west rocks this sunday and going to try for some kingies on lure and if the fails try to troll a little marlin up!
plan to hit the water at 5:30am nswtime and hopeing for a bit of action so with luck i may have some good pics to post next week but i wouldn't hold my breath fishing being fishing and all that!

well it has been canned as the bloke i was takeing up there to fish with decided he wanted to go sking insteed and with the late notace i haven't been able to fine anyone else thats willing and free so sorrie no fishing from south west rocks but i will now be hitting the bass at kempsey again!

well i live in sydney got stuck here after sydney olympics good money but never had to work so hard for a bloody leatherjacket every time i go outside hook everything from big pike 2 little snapper from my mates 15 footer but he is always busy and i must give him the shits hassleing him to get the boat in.this year i have to buy something it's beyond a joke if you ever need someone who wont go skiing or let you down two days notice and I'm there got all my own gear wont drive you mad asking for stuff all day and i don't spew.

Ole man got 9 flatties in cathie this morning, geez that place is reliable for a feed. Been a few 80cm odd fish score there lately to.
Wouldnt mind hitting the maria rock bars for some plastic bream???

bit freash for the bream unless right at the mouth but next few days sould see more bream move back in
never fished cathie but heard it is good for the flatties and bream but i also like north haven
ever been bass fishing???
could do that they have been fireing with the waters up abit!
when are you able to fish???

The Camden Havens a top river mate, awesome scenery
Havnt done much bass fishing, keen to get into it
Do you use the standard stuff when chasing em, hardbodies, plastics ect?
What river system you thinkin of hittin for em?

yeh mate i find the camden haven fishes a bit better than the hastings also

yeh i use pretty much the same gear to chase the bass as you do the bream but it you haven't got the gear i have plenty you can borrow
i though we might hit the bass up at kempsey i know alot of good spots up there
sound like after the long weekend is the go then mate
