Hi,

I'm an ex-pommie sandgroper coming to do a few weeks work in Brisbane next month.

I'll be staying right in the City and wondered if there were any fish in the river there. I'd guess mulloway and bream, but would like to know for sure, so that I know what tackle to bring.

I'll also be looking to do some fishing further afield at the weekends and wondered if there were any good land based game spots within a few hours drive?

Or better still if anyone wants to volunteer to take me fishing I'll be happy to pay for the fuel. I have all my own gear and know how to fish so won't be a liability.
