Re: GC Offshore
hey burley boy i will be going tomorrow outside as well i should be heading through the seaway at about 6am weather permitting.I went out today and at bout 11am it blew up to 20-25 knots swells at seaway ranging from 1m-2m very unpredictable and unstable after lunch so an early trip should be good we went out about 7km with not much success

Re: GC Offshore
I'm heading out tomorrow also. I hope to get through the seaway around 5.30am, fingers crossed.
I hope to pick up a few snapper or cobia around the 24's
I generally monitor VHF 73 so give Cookie a call.
Sounds like the seaway was a little rough this morning.
Just hoping the 4.6m with the 60hp can do the job

Re: GC Offshore
Missed you both, sorry guys but I didn't read the replies in time. Got out a bit late but had a magic day on the water. I was on 91, we'll catch up next time. I'll do a saltwater report on our day.

Re: GC Offshore
Sorry Reefmaster,
I missed your last post also last night.
Couldn't sleep as I was to excited and ended up having the boat in at the grand at 4.30am.
Jigged up some livies and head to the 24's. Very new to this fishing.
I anchoring up missing a nice patch of fish and thinking I'm not to far away got the berley going and put a livie under a ball. After an hour I prospect the 24's heading north. There wasn't a lot down there where I was traveling. Anyway about 8 am I when back to the Prince and caught a few choppers on poppers and called it a day about 9am
I generally drop the boat in at the Grand. If your planning another outing would be cool to catchup.
