Not that the size was anything to write home about (they were both throw backs), but my little girl (4 years old) caught her first (2) fish on Saturday at Yowie Bay (in Sydney's south).
She was so happy that she had her poor old dad in tears.

Take my word on it. Don't teach her anythimg more about fishing. She'll soon be like my wife and somehow, with doing most things wrong, still catch more than any bloke on the boat [smiley=hammer.gif] [smiley=help.gif]. hahaha, that must be why one of my mates ALWAYS catches a couple more fish than the rest of us.....
She didn't mind handling the bait (we used prawns), but didn't want to touch the first fish. She was braver by the second fish and asked if she could "pat it" before we threw it back.
I reckon that anyone - man, woman, child or beast could catch more fish than me - so I figure that if at least my daughter gets good at it I'll have the odd fish dinner

good for her and you, you should invest in a camera that way when she growns up and moves away you'll be able to sit down and watch your little girl catching fish.
Yeh nice work. My little girl is only 6months old but she will be fishing with dad soon lol
I love the look on kids faces as they learn new things or have new experiences. It is so refreshing.
