    Worth a go Saturday

Looks like the winds will be light enough for a run out from Mooloolaba on Saturday morning

The plan at this stage is to start off by fishing the run out tide (& sunrise) on one of the close in reefs (only a couple of kms off the coast) - could be a chance of some late season squire or early season mackeral. If things are no good by about 7 or 8am, will head out to northern end of the banks and give it a go out there. My records regularly show a good run of fish around 10am on this moon phase.

Might have to work hard for them after a few days of N/E, but i'd rather be giving it a go. It is about time we got a good forecast for a weekend

Anyone else heading out from Mooloolaba.

I was considering doing the same early and then heading wider and towing some lures or drifting livebaits.

That sounds like a perfect forecast to me Lou Should be pretty good up to lunch time. I wil be leaving the ramp at Kawana about 2:30am. I will be on VHF 72 or 27Meg 96.

            Cheers
