have any of u's been to kingfisher bay. i went earlier this year and made a killing on fish. i caught everythign from mack tuna, golden trevally,small GT's,tailor , big bream, whiting,flathead caught all of the jetty. if u havent made a trip up there its definately worth it. recenty one of the staff caught a 10kg queenie of the jetty on live bait. im hoping to make a trip up there at christams. if anyone has alson been up there and done well i would love to know.
P.S theres a barge perminately situated at the end of the jetty and have some nice chains inn the water which like to take your lures
I've done two trips over there fishing that jetty. The first trip (Jan 03') I had trouble getting live bait, saw plenty of spaniards cruising around but couldnt hook any. Landed some squid but that was all. The next trip (Jan 04')I had live herring but the spaniards weren't around. I caught a small g.t late in the day and lost 3 watsons bonito all on metal lure. I reckon its okay to try for small pelagics but the amount of structure, boats and other fishos means landing anything big is going to be difficult .
