Will be heading with a mate out through the Seaway on Sunday Morning early about 3:30 am with the Formosa for her first trip offshore. Looking at heading NE to see whats out there, have got a heap of common GPS points for that ground so if you see a couple of guys wondering around aimlessly in a Formosa, that will be us, with the Ausfish sticker on the transom. Might see someone out there
Damo.
Looks like the weather's going to be good for a change, so keep an eye out for the white 4.75 m Sea Jay centre console(LB461Q) with one aboard. VHF channel 73, callsign Sea Jay.
i was like that last week when i took my new boat on it's maiden voyage out through the seaway as well, all i had was some gps marks from the 500 hot fishing spots book
not sure were i ended up because i put in a mark but before i got there i came across several boats fishing an area so i thought i might as well join in
finished up catching 6 tailor there, all i know is that i was somewhere off surfers
also thinking of heading out again tomorrow morning ( if the deckies don't let me down again ) but this time heading north east so if you see a 510 allycraft bowrider also looking a little lost that just could be me
gday damo
The old man & i will be heading out about the same time to the 36's ne of the seaway aswell in a white 6m cuddy cab "dawn buster" i think he called it. might see ya out there . hope the weather behaves
