hi all

heading upto yeppoon tomorrow or friday for a few days .just wondering if anyone can give me a bit of info on where to fish or any gps marks and if anyones been to pumpkin island

RED_ROCKET here i lived there for 5 yrs talked to a mate last night
he just got home from a 2 night tripp. they went north from marina
up 2 manafold about 30+nm they got a very good feed of fish all spiecies.
id highly recomend a night tripp . look around for a few bommies and drift .a few around there . gettin lots of red jew at present up to 109 cm so take some heavy gear
try 2 get em quick as the tiger sharks can be a pain in the rear end.
ive stayed at pumkin ilse cabins very laid back and good shelter anchorage .
as 4 gps marks i move 2 bribie so ive deleted them soory mate i had lots of good spots.
any way good fishin maybe ill see a report when ya get back. try the child and barren
island hit and miss there somtimes.

gaffit, I hope you're not planning on doing any ocean fishing...even inside the Keppels is pretty sad this morning.
