    Cape Overnighter

First time posting after being an ausfish surfer for many years now, {great site}. Headed out to Cape Moreton sat arvo, jiged a few livies and headed for smith's for a top of the tide evening fish. Current was truckin so headed for spot x where we like fishin for snapper, normally a late in the year spot but we'll give it a crack. No joy so we decided to get some rack and try early morning. The northerly got up and had an uncomfortable night even wore a whitey through the hatch just to piss us off, nowhere to hide in a northerly up there. Morning was better so off to hutchies where the current was still truckin so we trolled. Didn't even have the three spred out and mac tuna was on. This set the tone for the day with rats in plague with a couple of nice yellow fin amongst them boated. Trolled in 30, 40 & 50m & after 20 odd mac tuna back swimmin decided to head back to bribie as hutchies was a parking lot by 8.00am all lures in tact. No hoo or marlin sited even other boats, think the water was to dirty. Thanks for the reply foxy, hope the weather gods r with u 4 1770 trip hope 2 get there soon myself!
