gonna try and be on water by 7pm and head back about 2am. So long as Harvey stays inland it should be a good trip.

Nonibbles, not sure if it`ll help but theres a sunken barge off west point. (S19.08.620 E146.45.210) it was in the sun newspaper last year i think. anyway its aways been a good place of fingermark for me.

Storms put us off. So cancelled. Then Pete convinced me after looking at the radar that they had all passed so we ended up poking our nose out for a bit. Got as far as the weed beds and didn't want to chance it in the open. Managed to get one squid into the net which was duly taken by a small shark. Some large clouds were building overhead as the tide peaked so we listened to the voices in our heads and decided that it wasn't such a good night to be out with no-one else in the area afterall. Probably wouldn't have been too bad after all but once the conscience kicks in ya gotta listen. Best to be safe. Lucky for Dr_Dan he didn't get wet. Next purchase - one fine mesh scoop net - the landing net is not good for squid and a barometer.
